The arugula looks generally healthy and vigorous overall, with good green color and steady growth. The main thing to watch is the fuzzy white growth at the base of the sponge. In a hydroponic setup, that kind of growth is usually a sign that the root zone is staying too damp and not getting enough airflow.
⚠️ Observations
I can see white fuzzy growth around the sponge surface and near the stem bases. That is more likely mold or fungus than something beneficial. Helpful root microbes usually do not show up as fluffy surface growth like this. The plants themselves do not look badly affected yet, but the base area is creating a moist, low-airflow pocket where fungus can grow. Your current conditions, especially 24 C and 60% humidity, are warm enough to encourage this if the sponge stays wet.
✅ Solutions
1. Remove the visible fuzzy growth carefully from the sponge surface if possible, and keep the top of the plug a little drier.
2. Increase air movement with Clip Fan so the crown area dries faster and fungus has a harder time returning.
3. Use Hydrogen Peroxide as a light spot treatment in the root zone if the growth keeps coming back. Keep it mild and do not overdo it.
4. Add a Root Inoculant after the area is cleaned up to help good root microbes settle in and compete with unwanted growth.
5. Check the nutrient mix with your EC Meter and keep pH steady with your pH Meter ; your current pH 5.8 is good for arugula, and the EC 1400 uS/cm is on the strong side, so avoid pushing it higher.
6. If the sponge stays wet for long periods, reduce splash and surface moisture around the base of the plant.
