Key Features and Differences

What truly sets Click & Grow apart is its product philosophy:

• “Smart Soil” Technology: This is their major innovation. They do not use common hydroponic sponges, nor do they require you to mix liquid fertilizers into the water (unlike iDOO or AeroGarden). Their capsules (plant pods) contain a patented spongy substrate with integrated nutrients that releases oxygen and water in a regulated manner. This guarantees a balanced pH without the user having to measure anything.

  • Advantage: It is the cleanest and easiest system (“Zero effort”).

  • Disadvantage: You are tied to buying their proprietary capsules for the best results (though you can try “hacks” to use your own seeds, the system is designed to sell their refills).

• Passive and Silent Design: Their systems (such as the Smart Garden 3 or 9) typically DO NOT have noisy water pumps. They use a wicking system via capillarity; water rises from the tank to the capsule silently. This makes them perfect for bedrooms or offices where pump noise would be distracting.
