I thought it was the Dyna Grow, too. But I have several AGs in one small hot corner. I think the cooling fan I used caused too much transpiration and stressed the plants. The leaves got progressively smaller and drier.

I just tasted the second Sweet Heat. It was perfect! Very sweet with just a hint of heat. Superb!

I tasted he first pepper I had picked. It was FIERY!!! Since neither Ron nor I like hot peppers, I will try another one or two. If they are all hat hot, that bush is comost!

HarvestPicked the first ripe pepper and adopted a staggered harvest approach.
I picked the ripe pepper today. I decided that instead of waiting for them all to ripen at once, I will pick them as they ripen. That should produce more peppers, give me an extended harvest and provide a steady supple of peppers to slice for salads and use in cooking. I hope.

Nice!! How big do those peppers get! They look like a pretty good size in the photo!

maskedsonnet , they get up to about 4" long. They are my favorite pepper to grow. They look like red Christmas tree ornaments when ripe.

I will agree. They are the tastiest pepper that I have eaten. Enjoy!

The peppers in one Harvest grew so tall that they were smashed against the lights, which completely blocked off light from the rest of the plant. So I did a 4 inch haircut across the top. That removed lots of blooms and a few green peppers. Am hoping it pays off with lots of new blooms and fruit.

PruningStripped oversized foliage so the interior received light and air.
Here are the big and small one -- both stripped of their huge outer leaves so the inside can get light and air. It still hurts to prune off those gorgeous, showy leaves. But there was a lot of moisture collecting under them.

I have been doing this for years now and I still get bothered taking the leaves but when they are removed I know it will grow healthier.
