PruningPinched away foliage that concealed the first open gazania bloom.
My first flower was so hidden by leaves that I didn't realize it had opened. I pinched away the extra leaves so it could show itself off. The other buds are on their way.

After I successfully (fingers crossed) wiped out my bug infestation and planted new plants, I saw a little brown moth hovering over my new gazania seedlings. I threw caution to the winds and sprayed the area with Raid. Now I hope the Raid doesn't kill the plants. But it got the moth!
