cheddachasa, try cutting off those yellowing lower leaves back to the stem. It will improve air circulation and should stimulate more fruit production. The plants look healthy.
How old is your son that he is that inquisitive?
My son is seven. I have started bringing him over to the garden and explaining what’s going on so hopefully he’ll get the urge not to touch the plants.
Your tomatoes look beautiful, cheddachasa. I know what you mean about decks used for long term projects becoming unusable. I have had some luck soaking them in vinegar a couple of days, then scrubbing with a pot scourer. @cornne was successful with Lime-Away. Here's her post.
