Those look great Lynnee. Remember, you don't want these to get fully ripe when you pick them. You want them when they start turning orange. They get soft really fast.
I'm watching them, mike, because H is asking for peppers in his sandwiches! Thanks for the tip about the color, because I thought that I needed to wait until at least one turned red.I'll recheck the oldest ones tomorrow, because they look slightly orange in the photo, though not to the naked eye. Probably we'll sample a green one soon--it's hard to wait when they're getting close!
To get seeds you can let them ripen. But they are soft in a day or two once fully ripe. I wouldn't eat the green ones. But yellow to orange is perfect.
They look awesome! How tall do these grow?
Mine were about 18 inches.

Thanks for the link. They have several interesting peppers including the Hatch peppers that I have searched for. Tried to grow them from seeds I took from a pepper I bought at the grocery store with no luck.
I'm glad they are working out. Mine were pretty slow. I don't know if they gave an expected time to harvest. It did take a long time. Good luck. Wait 'til you taste them. They are so good.
It is above the label and looking fine
After 11 days, one pepper seed has germinated, and even has little leaves! I think that another three seeds have also germinated, but they don't have leaves. Photos to come soon!
Two of the seed pods germinated, but I had to end the garden early due to illness. I'll start another garden in a day or two.
Okay, I started over with the Sweet Apple Kambe peppers. Bounty Elite planted with at least 3 seeds per pod in 4 pods on 2/21/23. That should get at least one plant! Photos to come when there is something happening.
Day 11 One Sweet Apple Kambe pepper pod has a seedling with leaves starting to poke up over the pod cover! I think that some of the other pods have seeds that have germinated, too. Photos to come soon.
