I let this plant go. I left the only pepper on this sad plant and it is still trying to ripen. We shall see.

Watch it take off now, so that you won't have the heart to really terminate it!

Need to replant AGAIN.. This one came up but the casing of the seed stayed on and I could not soften it so it died. Will try one more time

Pepper seed casings can be a real pain.

S
Shawn

Yes they can

Hope it goes well! Bell peppers are one of the few plants that seem to hate me.

Update #1

PlantingPlanted two Bush Bell Hybrid seeds in the Farm XL.

S By Shawn

First let me say I am going to steal mike 's way of posting this set of peppers by making one thread per Pepper! I hope you don't mind. These are planted in the Farm XL and has two seeds per pod. No Nutes to begin. Bush Belle Hybrid: Compact plants are perfect for containers. (Not so compact at 36" LOL) This new sweet pepper is a super producer and small space champion. The 36" plants are loaded with thick-walled blocky 4" long fruits. The tangy sweet peppers are sublime in salads, ravishing when roasted and great grilled. Harvest in about 60 days green or 80 days red.

Interesting, Are these supposed to taste like bell peppers? Their shape is perfect for throwing on the grill with a piece of meat. That has become one of my favorite meals for dinner.

S
Shawn

I have no clue what these will taste like. I hope good. If you (or anyone else) would like any of the seeds I have planted please PM me and I am more then happy to send some out

S
Shawn

While you can not see with a camera, there is life in the pod!

S
Shawn

It is struggling to germinate so I planted an extra pod with fresh seeds. Keeping fingers crossed it germinates While I usually do not add nutes at this stage I did add them since it is sharing space with another pepper.
