WOW!!!!! I changed the nutrients in my Kratky pepper plant to Dyna Gro, thinking it would give it a flowering boost. Instead I have almost killed it. I'm not sure I can salvage it. So to see your gorgeous peppers is amazing! Next time I will try peppers in a Bounty.

I have already spent a lot of time looking through them. It's fascinating to see all the various projects. I was thinking of Happy's purple bok choy the other day. That stuck in my mind as one I would like to try someday.

I have to say that I am extremely disappointed in the AG Jalapeno plant I am growing. While it has many flowers (that are being pollinated), there is not one pepper forming. It is 98 days now. In contrast the Sweet Heats are doing wonderful. That plant is FULL with peppers. I will give it another week and if there are still not peppers on the jalapeno I will remove it. Any ideas on why? Should I report it or just let it be? Maybe something wrong with the seeds? I know the temps are stable, the nutes are fine as is the mooch.
What are the climate conditions? Is it cool where they are growing?
I have the twp Bounty's in the same corner as they have been for four years. The temps stay a steady 70 degrees. There is not breeze, no sun shining in on them, no windows or doors. I am stumped.
Then you shouldn't be having issues. I too have had problems with the kit jalapenos. Some kits were great. Others were just unproductive. I started buying jalapenos from Park Seed, but my health concerns stopped me from testing them out.
I will start some custom Jalapenos I guess
Absolutely! Email them if you're not in a hurry. They will get back to you and will definitely send replacements. You've got nothing to lose and everything to gain.

This will still produce OK. The ones you prune are the plants that continue with a main stalk growing upward. When they naturally branch out, they are pretty good on their own. Of course, I've had branches that grow horizontally until they grow out of the lighted area. Peppers don't grow in the unlighted areas. Those branches need to be trimmed. (outside of the lighted area)
Thanks mike. This plant grew with a three way split. No real vertical shout as you mentioned. I am so mad I did not take a picture first and that I did it while but really paying attention. Oh well live and learn. Now to see how it does.
Shawn, is this a new Bounty with the highest LED? Nice looking machine!
Yes the Silver one is the Bounty Elite with a 50W. I have my Tomato growing in the Bounty which is a 40W. The Bounty Basic is 30W (I do not own a basic). They are very nice looking machines and so far I can not complain about them. Easy to do an R&R, Roots are more contained (while they can still get to the pump it is not as easy), the water hole is larger and it is overall pleasing to the eye.
ShawnStupid question but what do you mean that you put your AG Jalapeno into a Parks pod? Isn't the AG Jalapeno already in a pod?
@karenr, yes they are in a pod already. I removed the seeds and put them into a Parks pod/sponge. I like them better so when possible I do it.
I've noticed purpling too on young plants just starting/germinating out.
I have had this before. I do not worry about it any longer.
