Update #13

M By maskedsonnet

Accidentally let the water run out on this, so it's rather limp now. It still smells amazing, and I hope that it perks back up!!!

Oh my goodness! It got huge! Fingers crossed it bounces back better than ever!

S
Shawn

I hope so too! But maybe you can trim off some and freeze it.

I love how much of a BEAST this plant is
Conversation
S
Shawn

In case you have not yet done so, when you start to prune it will be very sticky on your hands and fingers.

S
Sher

That looks like the one I overwintered outside on the deck in Georgia.Don't you feel rich having all that wonderful rosemary?

M
maskedsonnet

Lol yeah, it's the downside of lovely, fresh rosemary - I HATE sticky! I like how the smell lingers when I wash it off though

M
maskedsonnet

I do! A wealth of delicious herbs in that room right now

I'm in love with this plant - it smells AMAZING, a large part of why I like growing rosemary. Also nice to be able to take a nice piece to cook with when I need it

It looks so healthy! I love the smell of rosemary. The one time I tried to grow it inside in a pot it died. My outside plant did much better. I'll have to keep the Aerogarden in mind for it.

S
Shawn

Beautifully bushed out

Update #3

Actions taken

EquipmentDiscarded the non-germinating pod.
TransplantMoved the surviving rosemary pod to the centre of the unit.

M By maskedsonnet

Rosemary always starts so slow, it's always such a delight when you notice it getting bigger The other pod still has no activity, so I've tossed it and moved this pod over to the middle
Conversation
S
Sher

I love rosemary. It's my favorite herb. So glad to see that one of yours is thriving.

S
Shawn

Very slow but so worth it

Update #2

M By maskedsonnet

The rosemary is all the way out of the pod on one side! The other side I think maybe it was only wishful thinking on my part that saw something coming up, as it was completely empty when I picked it up and looked at it. I'll give it until the next round of feeding, and if there's nothing up I'll take out the empty pod and move the plant to the middle so it'll have the whole machine to fill out

Planted 2 pods of rosemary in the Harvest 360! Nutrients will be added in a couple days in order to keep it synchronized with all the other machines.

I love growing Rosemary. These are slow growers but well worth the wait.

C
campingcorgis

That may put my new Harvest to good use!!! Have to consider this as an option!

S
Sher

I also love growing rosemary. I transplanted a pod into a container on the deck last year. It overwintered, and is now a big bush.

C
campingcorgis

Wow!!

M
maskedsonnet

Both pods have sprouted, but no photo yet. They aren't quite tall enough for my camera to see!
