Well darn, that’s a bummer. But a great experiment. Now we know that broccoli can be grown hydroponically, just needs to be smaller. Did you have to do any pollinating for this?
I didn't- the broccoli we eat is only the flower buds. Once they blossom they get bitter. I suppose I could harvest the leaves and the stem- those are just as edible, but I didn't think of it till afterward. I could have gotten a lot of greens off those leaves.
I found this dwarf variety at Gurneys, but they are out of stock: www.gurneys.com/product/destiny-hybrid-broccoli-Other sources of this variety don't have it listed as a dwarf variety, so I may just wait for this one to come back. They say on the site they offer it in both spring and fall, so it should come around again in a few months.This one from Park might fit, but it isn't listed as a dwarf:parkseed.com/belstar-hybrid-organic-broccoli-seeds/p/05836-PK-P1/I found an article that suggested a Kabuki variety, but I am a hard time finding seeds for that online.

I would be for me, that's for sure! I'd love to grow it indoors. I can't see myself buying a Farm or Farm Plus tho
I'm sure one would be quite happy in an Ultra or a Bounty. Each side of a Farm Plus is only a little bigger than one of those. The main advantage of a Farm is that they are compact and stackable, not that they grow that much more.Corinne is growing cucumbers in her Ultra same as mine are in the Farm. My vine has gotten a little better because I let them expand past the grow deck, but health-wise I'm not doing any better.
