Update #3

Still working various herbs in and out of the Sprout units that are perched on my Farms. I've still got basil going, but the peppermint and parsley are long gone. Today I've got some just-sprouted rosemary as well as Thyme and Sage.

I have never grown sage but looking at yours I may try it.

I really am behind on these updates! Wow. Since that original post the basil and peppermint have been separated into their own Sprouts. I was growing curly parsley in a third Sprout but it took a random turn for the worse one week. I just started new dill and parsley plants in that third Sprout. Here’s the basil:And the peppermint:Both had just been trimmed pretty significantly when I took those photos.

As mentioned in my other post I’m now running three Sprouts on top of my Farms. I started the black Sprout back in July with no plans to acquire more soon. I started it with Park Seed ProEasy Basil, Park Seed Peppermint, and Park Seed ProEasy Parsley. I have since relocated the Peppermint to one of the new units. It’s planted alone. The second new unit has the standard AG Sprout herb kit growing. (Basil, Curly Parsley, Dill) My plan is to let the two Parsley plants and the dill occupy this sprout and to relocate the two basils to the black Sprout. It’ll all make sense eventually. 🙂
