My Basil and Oregano were doing SOOO well. Until, the reaper was here. I have NO clue what was done to them but I need to replant. The Rosemary is doing well .
This morning I was looking at my garden and the basil and oregano still did not look healthy. Then it occurred to me ... the reaper was here and she was cleaning. I remember catching her spraying cleaner on the counter and not moving the AG while doing so and I yelled at her. Well since the basil and oregano never recovered from her being here (and her constant rubbing of the leaves and messing with them) that she actually sprayed the plants as well (not intentionally I am sure ). So I tested it KNOWING I was going to start fresh today,,,, I sprayed a leaf on both plants and lo and behold ... they browned. My plants were poisoned. With that said... This garden and thread will be ended. I am going to clean this unit and plant new herbs. However the Rosemary is doing very well. It was in the back and behind the oregano so it was not affected. I will move this to the new herb garden or maybe put it in its own. Anyway, this one is being terminated today and a new one will be started this afternoon after a deep clean.
Update #13
I must get pictures, my basil is starting to really pop and grow.
Update #12
I took a leaf of both the MIGardener Dwarf Greek Basil and the Botanical Interests Purple Basil and tried them. Both are ok in taste. For anyone liking a milder taste with no anise or peppery flavor, these are both good.
Update #11
Nutes Added. All my herbs are growing. The burpee Rosemary still has not done anything but then again it took 45 days last time.

I harvested most of the Parsley. There are a few more "stalks" growing and once they are grown, I will harvest and remove. I want to grow some more basil as I am running low. The Rosemary continues to surprise and amaze me. I trimmed it again this morning and added that to my supply in the freezer. The Oregano also was trimmed up some as well as it being added to my supply.
All of plants look so green and healthy and vibrant and such a clean garden! The cilantro looks like it is coming up nice and healthy as well!
Thanks! The cilantro has been a bear for me lately. I do not know if it is t his seasons seeds or what. I am going to paper towel germinate a few more so I can plant a second one. I have to fill my stock up.
That Rosemary! Wow. 😍
The aroma you gt from the Rosemary is insane and I love it. Actually they all smell wonderful. I am very happy with the Rosemary. While I can let it get larger and grow, I do not want it to go to seed so I keep it trimmed. As for my Parsley, As much as I hack this one to try and end it, it continues to grow LOL. My Cilantro is growing nicely and my Oregano continues to become a beast of its own so I need to trim that again.
In my ever changing Kitchen Herb Bowl I have finally removed and harvested all the Parsley and Oregano. I started a new Oregano using Botanical Interest seeds. I have never tried theirs before so why not now. I have my Cilantro growing and the Rosemary which I can't help but keep trimmed so it does not go to seed. I may try to start a new one and if it takes I would replace. I will be starting a Basil in here as well later today. If all my paper towel cilantro seeds grow then I will have a Cilantro garden only. Will update when I know more
I moved the Cilantro to a "Cilantro" Harvest with two others. Now in this unit I have the Rosemary which is still growing. Also is the Botanical Interest Oregano. I just planted Botanical Interest Purple and Genovese Basil and a MIGardener Dwarf Greek Basil. I have never grown this vendor seeds in basil before so interested how they will germinate and grow.
All three of the new basil seeds are softening and look like they will germinate. The oregano has green but not yet above the label. Today I will end the Rosemary and plant new seeds for a fresh plant.
I have planted two pods of Rosemary. One is my old standby of Burpee and the other I am going to see if MIGardener germinates.

I don;t think I have ever seen such a picturesque herb project..the bowl has to go, though..
First clean bowl in my reach
Since Park Seed is a reputable vendor, I wonder if it's that one of the varieties is a hybrid that reverted to its natural variety. I remember when I used to plant begonias outside that some of the pink flowers would revert to red.
Happy, you may be right. Even if seeds got mixed, i am not mad at it. I need to check if it is a hybrid of not.

Beautiful!
I ended the Lettuce Basil on Christmas eve as I used all of it in my sauce. Plus it was overtaking that side of the machine LOL. Everything else is going strong!
Today I trimmed the oregano and parsley. I also trimmed up the rosemary but you would never know looking at it. I will take a picture after my phone charges. Now the house smells like fresh herbs
Update #4
I am thrilled that the parsley is growing. The Lettuce basil is doing great. I had to cut some of those large leaves off so it did not smother the oregano. Greek Basil and Oregano and also well. Phone is charging so cant take any picks now.

Your machine of choice seems to be the Harvest! You have several of these, right? Is that your fav model,Shawn?
I do like the Harvest and the size is perfect for my desk, the spare room and my kitchen counter. I also Love the Bounty models. If I had to so far I would select the Harvest and Bounty. Trust me if I had the space I would swap out some for another Bounty or two LOL,,, As nice as the Farms are as well as space I could not do the R&R's with my back. Plus I do not have the space for them.I need to either build an addition as an AG room or get a bigger house. So now that had me thinking of how many I do own now.I DID own a Sprout that I gave to my mother who threw it out instead of giving it back I have an Extra not in use and it needs a new pump. I have 5 Harvests, not all in use, two Bountys and one Ultra. That equals 10. But something tells me there is another one of some sort floating around. Now before I turned the spare room into a spare room I had more units in there. Unfortunately, before my 2nd surgery those were taken down so I can put a bed, dressers, etc in there. I need an AG room/house too bad I did not hit the lottery LOL . THat was a long answer to a short question
Shawn I have an over abundance of new pumps if you need one. I think over time I kept adding a pump to orders here and there to get free shipping, figuring pumps would fail more often than they have. With all my many machines I think I’ve only ever needed one... So just pm me and I’d be happy to send.
Thanks Mary
