Update #4

Actions taken

TransplantMoved all geranium seedlings out of the AeroGarden Harvest.

J By Jay

I've moved them all out of the Harvest for now. My new project in the Harvest is Tom Thumb Lettuce!

They look happy in their pots. Is Tom Thumb lettuce the one that produces the tiny heads? That will be another great project to follow!

J
Jay

They are the tiny ones. I'm curious on taste.I gave these two more weeks in the AG, they look much better than the three I moved earlier.

I can't wait until I see the blooms!

Update #3

Actions taken

PlantingPlaced a found geranium seed into the pod that appeared empty.

J By Jay

Most of the covers are off! The one in the front right seemed to be missing a seed, when I picked up my kaput Bounty Basic, there was a seed under it sooo, it found a new home!

Update #2

J By Jay

Today's picture. I'm not liking the painters tape for the top, too much work and room for error. My printed pods aren't doing me a lot of favors either, one of the sponges is mostly dry. But there is growth!

I have made labels using a thicker paper by cutting a circle then using a hole punch a few times in the middle when needed. I also save my labels and reuse. I cut one of the sides so I can easily remove them to use in future.

J
Jay

Shawn when do you remove the labels?

S
Shawn

I usually remove them when they are over the label about a half inch. Just do not let the eaves touch the dome.

Update #1

Actions taken

PlantingPlaced one geranium seed per sponge for three named varieties.
FinishedAdded five millilitres of peroxide.

J By Jay

I'm jealous of all the geraniums I'm seeing so... I started mine today. I had intended to put these in my new Woot Bounty, but I could only find 3 pods, so they are in the Harvest. I'm also printing more pods.AG HarvestAG spongesParks Nano SalmonParks Maverick OrangeParks Inspire AppleBlossom1 seed per sponge, no nutes yet (5ml of peroxide though)and the seeds!Maverick Orange, Nano Salmon and Inspire AppleBlossom

The appleblossom is my favorite. I believe that is the one that is in my Forum Avatar. You are really going to have a beautiful color array!
