They almost look holiday-festive. What a great project, Shawn. Do you think they will fruit again and will you allow the project to go on or is this the one which you said would be ending soon? They are gorgeous

@cornne, there are some new buds and flowers. However I have some new things in the works and will most likely end this in a couple of weeks.I WILL grow these again however, just maybe somewhere else. I meant to take a picture of them close up. They had nice corking starting in them too.I also pulled two nice red King Arthurs off. One I chopped up and sauteed with my eggs. OMG, It was delicious and perfect. The other I sliced and ate raw. I will grow these again too. I will have to make note to place both in the recommended section.

Thanks so much for the taste review..making me hungry for pepp's n eggs...especially since I can't digest eggs any more..it used to be my fav. I would love to cook mine stuffed with chicken flavored rice pilaf!

The red King Arthur is gorgeous in the background. The jalapeno looks purple and orange at this point. Striking color contrast! I think being an Aerogarden Addict must also turn you into a pepper addict. The more I see others growing them, the more I want to!

I will never be a pepper addict. I am totally a flower person. That's not to say I don;t try my hand at the sweet pepper project every now and again. But I prefer mostly flowers,lettuce and toms..in that order. Flowers..good for my mental health Lettuce good for my hips Toms good for my taste buds !

I mostly grow the peppers for Mark and to cook with. I am doing more flowers too at the moment which I am enjoying a lot.I want to find a place in the living room to place a machine for flowers besides having them on my desk (at the moment the Peas are on the desk). The problem I have is having an open floorplan. I need more walls.

I have my first jalapeno starting to change color. I need to take a few pics. I also harvested another King Arthur. It was soooo good. I ate some and sauteed the rest with dinner last night.

The Pictures and Review (courtesy of Mark) of the King ArthurThe pepper is nice and heavy in weight. Has a sweet fresh smell of a bell pepper. Sweet in flavor. Great crunch with a dense flesh. The bite is firm yet juicy. Average amount of seeds. Great for snacking, roasting, salads and more.

Had a scare yesterday. I went to look at the plants and these both were wilting. To my horror my pump died (or is super clogged .. TBD). I was able to get the pump changed out and they look good this morning

I ordered 4 new pumps and 2 boxes of filters las week. I wish I had ordered more labels, too.To be honest, I wish AG offered pre-punched labels we can create our own labels and print them out on an inkjet printer like an Avery label..

thanks. I cut out the bandages. fingers are horrible. Getting all the nodules and swelling from the RA and PsA and Osteo.Here is the description. I THINK I remember these being treated seeds too. . Thank you @cornne for bringing this to my attention. My Godfather is not Godfathers after all. There had to be a mix up in seeds. They are hand labelled with stickers so maybe they were switched.That plant might actually be a King Arthur Pepper.

SolutionCompleted a full reservoir rinse and refill.

Ok so I am confused here. My Godfather is doing wonderful but my Early looks sad.Yesterday I did a full R&R, gave 9ml nutes (maybe I need more? mike ?) and 5ml Mooch. What do you think the problem is? Too little nutes? Something else?

PollinationPollinated the flowers and found a large developing pepper.
Lots and lots of peppers and flowers. Here are some pictures from different sides. While pollinating I found a huge pepper on the Godfather. I do not think I had a pepper the size of this one on any project I planted.Here are the two plants together. The right one has some buds on it already. Here are the different angles:

My jalapeno has four flowers opening. The Godfather has tons of flowers and peppers. I can not wait for them to start turning colors.

mike or @cornne . You both have grown the Godfather pepper before. My plant is only 4" tall and had buds which I will trim off. However where should I top this? Should I top this? HELP!Please ....As you can see I removed those huge leaves already. Here are two pictures.

Shawn,I have 2 Jalapeno M pepper plants in my Harvest. One is very small, about 8 inches tall. It has about 10 peppers on it now. It was planted in a park sponge and sprouted about 2 weeks later than my larger plant in the same unit. The plant is healthy, just small. The second Jalapeno M plant is about 18 inches tall. I have it growing around the unit and have another light that illuminates all of the branches that go beyond the AG lights. I think the one plant is naturally smaller because it did not get as much light initially when the second plant was growing at a much faster pace. It worked out since both plants are very productive.

I think the M is supposed to be mild, but they still have a nice kick.

The vendor I get them from considers them a medium heat. Still good. I have a variety of different peppers. I have been growing at least 3 peppers plants at a time for the last 3+ years LOL My husband loves them and I cook with them a lot too.

That's awesome. How many AG's do you have running concurrently? I have had basil growing in my harvest since January. I kind of wish it would die so I can start some more peppers myself!

Right now I have 5 running. I have another 5 in their boxes. I had to put many away when I had my foot surgery last year. I have not taken them back out YET. I will eventually. I had even more but sold several and ditched a few but kept pieces for parts.

Wow! That's crazy! You can do a lot with that many units! I hope that you have recovered from your surgery! If I had 10 units, I would be experimenting with a lot of different projects. Since it is summer, I will focus more on my outdoor garden. I have 30 tomato plants outside and 30 pepper plants too.
