You have a herb jungle!
These are all out of control. This weekend (I think Sunday) I will be ending all but the Chives. I will then plant some Parsley and Cilantro since the other one did not germinate for me. I am also ordering some Dill to grow. What other herbs should I try that I never have. Hmmm I need to think.
maskedsonnet, was it Lemon Basil you use for Tea or Ice Water?
It’s lemon balm that I use. I’ve never had lemon basil, but I bet it’d taste good added to tea too!
Thanks! Glad to see this before I order
CHIVES! Yours look great! I just cannot grow chives. I have given up. I don't know why. I've tried 3 times. They always grow about 2 inches and just shrivel up.
Try different vendors. I know that these are from Territorial. I have grown the chives from Renees that grew well for me too. I also grew some that were duds from other vendors.
Some of my AG chives have been duds, and some have grown slowly indoors but really well when transplanted to potting soil outdoors. Go figure.
This left side has been terminated. All herbs harvested. Now the unit will be sanitized and cleaned. I ordered new herbs that will be planted on this side.
Update #4
Those all look so tasty!
They look great, Shawn!
These are doing wonderful. The oregano has exploded so I harvested some from both plants. Now they are in the freezer. Tomorrow I will be tending to the basil as I will need it for dinner. I will need to take pics and do a feeding on them
Can't wait for the pictures!
Nutes given
Update #3
Sweet babies!
I need to thin the basil today
Two days late but I finally added nutes.
I will get pictures later but my herbs are doing wonderful. I will need to prune my basil back.
Update #1
Ooooh. Nice choices!
They were started with no nutes. I will add the template of planting layout in first post.
