I have cleared out the bounty and started a new Genovese Basil that will eventually go to kratky. The grow dome is still on and I see the first hint of green from deep down in the sponge

CHIVES (glamour shot)

I think chives are beautiful. I actually have chives growing in a pot behind some flowers -- because their strappy leaves add a nice structural element.

I just planted two pods of chives myself

P
petunia

I agree. They have an elegance to them

P
petunia

That is a good idea growing two at the same time. It gives you enough when you harvest it!

Yay, chives! I love their slender leaves... and being able to snip them fresh anytime at all!

P

Yes. I will make baked potatoes and sour cream just for this crop!

S
Shawn

I grow, chop and freeze them so I have on hand when I can't use them fresh. But they are still fresh, just frozen fresh

It's so healthy looking, petunia! I also love the potted rescues. I have a pot of green onions grown from the ends of store bought ones hidden behing the flowers in my window. Isn't it exciting? Every new plant is a thrill!

P
petunia

Yes. I just love watching everything grow 💕 and pinching off leaves to cook with!! The Aerogarden has put it all into a new perspective
