I replaced the dud Curly Parsley pod with Purple Plum Radish seeds. The timelapse has been interesting recently, since you can now see everything moving:

Whoa neat video. At first I thought that was the curly parsley taking over near the end, and was wondering what that bulbous purple root was. There is something ominous about that radish lol.

I love the time lapse. I think of plants as being immobile, but they are actually lively little things!

Another 18 days of progress - or as I like to call it, four days of growth and fourteen days of "oops I forgot to add nutrients".I added some more nutrients tonight, but I'll end this project in a week or two. The timelapse is fun but I need a better webcam and location before I do it again.

Ended this today - the basil wasn't very usable, but I'm freezing the dill and chives, and I hung up the parsley to dry.I'm happy to get six new pods

WateringStarted the seeds in reverse-osmosis water without nutrients.
I've got a bunch of herb kits from my Sprouts, so I figured I should use them up. I mostly want the plastic pods, but I'd feel bad if I threw out the seeds and medium, so here we go.I planted the Gourmet Herb kit on the left: Dill, Curly Parsley, and Genovese Basil.I planted the Tasty Ranch kit on the right: Dill, Curly Parsley, and Chives.Started the seeds in RO water, no nutrients added. I will (hopefully) be trying out something new with this later on, so look forward to that

Everything has, at least, sprouted. The Curly Parsley took the longest to sprout, and it seems an odd purple-brown color, but I assume that will resolve itself as it gets more light.So far the chives are the only thing to (barely) make it out of the label's hole.

Added 1ml of GH CALiMAGic, and 2ml of the AG nutes.I also removed the helmets from the chives, although I think all of them ended up breaking off a bit of the seedlings as well.

I feel like this was the worst project to try this out with, because of how small herbs are. I might pick up a better webcam at some point to deal with the lighting.

How did you do that? I saw them move on the right especially.

I hooked up a webcam to an old laptop, and then had it take a picture every two minutes. You can see the time in the upper left of the video
